This two-week look ahead schedule highlights upcoming planned construction activities and work hours, including low impact nighttime work and anticipated noise levels.
We don’t anticipate the activities scheduled over the next two weeks will generate noise beyond typical ambient noise levels, but we are continuing to monitor construction-related noise and will make adjustments as required.
Maintenance Holes and Bypass Construction
Per the notification issued on June 28, construction of two new maintenance holes required for North Shore Wastewater Treatment Plant Project pipe connections has started. The maintenance holes will be located in the West 1st Street laneway, just north of West 1st Street and east of Philip Avenue. Installation of the bypass pipes and pumps will continue over the next week, with work on the new maintenance holes anticipated to begin the week of August 2. This work is anticipated to be complete in October 2021.
