Construction of the North Shore Wastewater Treatment Plant Project will resume Thursday, July 25, 2019.
Upcoming activities will include:
- Continuing the pre-load work on the site. This includes placing and distributing the pre-load material (sand and gravel) using bulldozers, front-end loaders and dump trucks.
- Ground strengthening tests at the west end of the site. This work will include pre-drilling to determine the most appropriate methodology for the next phase of ground improvements. These tests may be noisy at times.
- All work will take place during the District of North Vancouver’s bylaw hours of 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday to Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
- This work will be contained to the Project site, with no anticipated effects to traffic.
Following the results of the ground strengthening tests, we will distribute another Project update outlining what work will be taking place over the next few months as the Project moves forward.
If you have any questions about this work, please contact the Project’s Community Liaison Officer at 604-928-7810 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
