The North Shore Wastewater Treatment Plant (the Project), formerly the Lions Gate Secondary Wastewater Treatment Plant, is a new facility being built to replace and upgrade the existing primary Lions Gate Wastewater Treatment Plant on the North Shore. New federal regulation requires that all Canadian wastewater treatment plants provide primary and secondary treatment to improve water quality and safety.

This essential piece of infrastructure, delivered by ACCIONA, designed by Tetra Tech and DIALOG for the operation and maintenance building, will serve over 250,000 residents in the districts of West and North Vancouver, the City of North Vancouver and the Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh Nations.
